Throughout the year, the Alumni League has multiple meetings and events. This is a great time to network with fellow USC alumni and interact with current Trojan Battalion members and active duty staff.  Battalion activities open to Alumni League members are shown under Battalion Events.

If you are interested in any of these positions or are willing to assist a BOD member, email Jim Hull (hulljamesc@gmail.com) NLT 12 February. Officers and assistants can live anywhere and participate via Zoom.

The Executive Committee of the Board of Directors will meet on 19 February @1000 at Navy Golf Course Seal Beach to assemble a slate of candidates to be voted on at our 12 March Board meeting.

June 2026 | AV-8B Harrier Sundown

The AV-8B Harrier Sundown event is a multi-day farewell to the iconic USMC jet, scheduled for June 1-4, 2026, at MCAS Cherry Point, NC, featuring open houses, static displays, park festivals, and the official Sundown Ceremony for the last operating AV-8B squadron (VMA-223) before their F-35 transition.

  • Dates: June 1-4, 2026
  • Location: MCAS Cherry Point, North Carolina.
  • Activities:
    June 1: Evening Social in Downtown New Bern.
    June 2: VMA-223 Open House (Static Displays, Simulator Tours) & Havelock Park Festival (Public Event, Food, Music, AV-8B Flyover).
    June 3: Sundown Ceremony & Last Flight.
  • June 4: Golf tournament
